Grants & Funding Opportunities

Renewable Energy Systems and Energy Efficiency Improvements Program
Rural Business-Cooperative Service

Calendar Year 2022 Disaster Water Grants

Rural Housing Service

You don't qualify if you're a for-profit business, farm operation, or private individual. If your facility isn't in a disaster-declared rural area, or the damage wasn't from a presidentially declared disaster, skip this. Confirm with your Rural Development office.

FY23 Evaluation Monitoring Program
Forest Service

Skip this if you don't have forest or woodland acreage, or if your land is purely pasture or cropland. Also pass if you're not interested in formal monitoring and evaluation activities.

Agriculture and Food Research Initiative Strengthening Agricultural Systems
National Institute of Food and Agriculture · Closes: Mar 26, 2026

Solo operators and small-farm businesses should skip this. It's for academic and research institutions only. If you're looking for direct farm funding, ask your FSA office about other USDA programs designed for producers.
